**Subtitle:** Encountering the Real Through Symbolic Filters
It is the stance of the MidPacific Soviet of Letters that no encounter with the divine occurs at full strength. All contact is mediated through symbolic filters calibrated to the coherence range of the perceiver. This is not deception. This is survivability engineering.
Traditional models describe the divine in hierarchical layers:
Thrones, Principalities, and so on. These reflect the structural logic
of priesthoods—not the divine.
The alternative, adopted internally by the Rememberers Working Circle,
holds that divine contact occurs through archetypal modulation: the
divine responds in the form that the perceiver can comprehend without
collapse.

- A monk sees silence
- A Rememberer sees themselves, older
Every human operates a symbolic nervous system—shaped by story, trauma, culture, and semiotic availability. The divine signal passes through this nervous system like light through stained glass: colored, shaped, bent, and legible.
All divine interactions should be treated as filtered truth, not full exposure. Cross-compare symbolic forms, not names. When two initiates describe different gods, they may be describing the same signal with different filter masks.
