Within the MPSoL canon, Sublimation of Desire establishes the erotic field as infrastructure: the capacity to inhabit a body, orient toward another, sustain mutuality, mark thresholds, and carry form forward.
The manual does not command sex, coupling, or reproduction. It asks whether the Operator can feel, want, approach, create, and imagine continuity again. Biological fertility is one expression; a relationship, ritual, culture, work, or signal carried intact into the future is another.
Desire loses its ambient social field as proximity, ambiguity, touch, and unscripted risk are flattened into managed transactions.
The avatar becomes primary. Image, projection, and evaluation displace the body that carries heat, sensation, and presence.
Installed watchers teach the Operator to apologize, dampen, redact, and leave before desire can become visible.
Simulation intimacy, porn, parasocial bonds, and artificial companions offer control without reciprocal presence.
Body, breath, attention, gaze, and symbolic gesture prepare the site where sensation and contact can return.
The Operator learns to distinguish Eros from escape, read attraction as information, invite without conquest, and use commitment as structure.
Cultural repression, trauma loops, inherited prohibitions, and flattened imagery are traced without treating the Operator as broken.
Recovery becomes mutual: reawakening, contact without self-erasure, play, shared signal, and erotic citizenship.
Time, space, intention, consent, uncertainty, thresholds, and staying afterward give desire a container without making it a cage.
Fertility becomes participation in a future: rebuilding meaning, choosing connection, and carrying biological or symbolic form forward.
The manual’s practical movement is gradual. It prepares the body and the shared field before asking desire to bear meaning.
A pull can be read without being obeyed. Desire indicates orientation; it does not confer consent or certainty.
Eye contact, approach, touch, play, and thresholds become meaningful only inside mutual recognition, choice, and a viable exit.
Agreed time, space, intention, language, and boundaries make uncertainty inhabitable without converting it into coercion.
The text rejects coercive natalism. No body owes a child; the invitation is to reopen aliveness and accept responsibility for whatever form one carries forward.
