Mental-health and source boundary
The manual uses clinical-sounding language for a literary-symbolic system and sometimes recasts hallucination, derealization, paranoia, or identity disturbance as Simulation effects. That framing is the artifact’s voice, not a diagnosis and not evidence that such experiences are benign, revelatory, or safe to induce.
