The MPSoL edition does not retell the UMMO affair from a safe historical distance. It reconstructs Operation WOLF-424 as a declassified symbolic-operations file: doctrine, authorizations, budgets, protests, procedures, field reports, inter-Soviet criticism, and final reconciliation. The case is made through paperwork because paperwork is the case.

Real astronomy, technical diction, formal correspondence, and moral-philosophical modules place the impossible claim at the plausible verge: strange enough to attract, familiar enough to enter discussion.

Researchers, journalists, study circles, publishers, believers, and debunkers reproduce the material for different reasons. Agreement is unnecessary once circulation itself maintains the field.

Oversight reduces the paper allotment, increases contingency, and triggers SIG/PEÑA-001’s formal protest that narrative momentum requires surplus. The absurdity is precise: metaphysical destabilization must survive fiscal review.

The final joint statement does not erase the operation. Barcelona concedes that WOLF-424 exceeded its forecast propagation boundaries; Paris records the cost of cleaning up the philosophical debris; both recognize the Tlön experiment’s value, agree to share the documentation, and plan future cooperation over modest quantities of cava and cognac. The dispute closes. The file does not.
